Welfare

Approximately half of the John Laing Charitable Trust’s budget is spent, each year, on retired employees who are in need.

Former employees are visited by one of a small team of six welfare officers who identify and confirm instances of need.  Support is also given to retirement clubs and a quarterly newsletter is produced and available to all retirees.
